Reduce the Cost of Household Bills By Using Solar Power

We would all like cheaper electricity and gas bills. Most of us
shop around for the provider with the lowest electricity, gas or
oil prices and leave it at that, but there are other ways to
warm your house. Not only could you save money in the long term
by reducing your household fuel bills, but you can also do so in
a more environmentally friendly way and, in today’s world of
global warming which produces extreme weather conditions, that
is a major factor for many people.

New Oil Heat Law Could Cost Consumers Copper Piping To Be Required By State In September

Nearly half the homes in Massachusetts heat with oil and while consumers may not be thinking about heating costs now, at the height of summer, there is one fix they may want to make quickly if they don’t want to pay bigger bills this winter.

Susan Wornick reported that a new law is about to take effect that could prevent a leak, but could also cost you hundreds of dollars.

Green energy: California poll finds overwhelming support

“This is a clear mandate that people want to move beyond dirty energy,” said David Graham-Caso, Los Angeles Sierra Club spokesman.

Where does Natural Gas Come From?

Natural gas is a resource on which much of the world relies as
an energy source. Though pure natural gas is odorless and
colorless, it is highly combustible and burns cleaner than other
fossil fuels. Natural gas is usually obtained from reservoirs
deep within the earth by drilling, and is often found alongside
oil deposits and extracted during oil drilling operations by
companies such as Western Pipeline Corporation. Both oil and natural gas
which are found within the earth form from the remains of
ancient organic matter that has undergone intense pressure and
heat in the absence of oxygen. Under these intense heat and
pressure conditions for long periods of time, carbon bonds in
the organic matter break down and eventually form deposits of
oil and natural gas. Deposits containing oil, natural gas and
water are not uncommon.
